It's The beginning of the year, the perfect time to start goal setting. When you hear
goal setting it can sound intimidating but if you just take some time out, relax and
have an open mind you can get it done. It's time to bulk down people, let's not walk
through this new year with our goals not written down and I don't mean on a little
piece of paper that you are going to forget about and throw away. I mean an actual
notebook or planner that you can go to everyday as a reminder and a motivator to
keep you going. Goal setting is a process that starts with careful consideration of
what you want to achieve, and ends with a lot of hard work to actually get it done.
You may think Goal setting is as easy as writing it down and poof it's going to
happen well, I'm here to tell you it's not. I know this can become stressful but I
have the remedy. First Instead of saying stress let's call it bread crumbs. Have you
ever heard the story Hansel and Gretel. If you haven't heard this story, I will break
it down for you. It's about a little boy and girl who were walking through a forest
and left bread crumbs every step of the way so that they wouldn't get lost. In this
case we are kind of doing the same. Every step of the goal setting process we are
going to leave bread crumbs until we are all the way to the end. These bread
crumbs (stress) helps us make things a bit easier and less stressful. Your goals will
be laid out in front of you step by step. Goal setting is a powerful process for
thinking about your ideal future, and for motivating yourself to turn your vision of
this future into reality. You can use it to Increase your intelligence, learn a new
skill or rekindling a relationship, setting goals lets us create our future. Effective
goal setting lets you measure progress, overcome procrastination and visualize
your dreams. If you don’t know what you want to accomplish, you can’t create a
plan to get there. Goal setting also keeps you accountable. Setting goals help you
grow new behaviors; help guide your focus; gives you control of your future and
Provides Motivation. If you don't have goals, you're up to 30 times more likely to
miss out on success.

1. Think of something you want to do or work towards.
2. Write it down. Carefully writing every detail.
3. Tell someone. Telling someone we know about our goals also seems to
increase the likelihood that we will stick at them.
4. Break your goal down. Make sure it's broken down into every step how you
are going to do it, the resources etc.
5. Plan your first step.
6. Keep going.
7. Celebrate. Celebrating will help you stay on track.
