Its okay to Not be Okay

Love makes room for us to Not be Okay

Loving yourself just reminds us that we are beautifully, fearfully wonderfully made

Lets make bigger strides to get the help needed. Not every day is perfect but we cannot walk around constantly with self defeating thoughts.

I am a big advocate for religious observances, but I am an even bigger advocate for solid mental health treatment.

Clinical depression is the more-severe form of depression, also known as major depression or major depressive disorder. It isn't the same as depression caused by a loss, such as the death of a loved one, or a medical condition, such as a thyroid disorder.

Faith based communities and communities of color experience mental health at higher rates than other communities.

After we have prayed and fast, lets feel comfortable reaching out to a qualified mental health professional for help.

Great discussion happens surrounding the need for medication and other pharmacological interventions.

Our bodies and brains are made up of chemicals. There are instances where a chemical imbalance is at hand. How do you do know if your thoughts and feelings are linked to this imbalance? This is where a qualified mental health professional can help.
